Mr D.I.Y. Group (M) Berhad ("Company") wishes to announce that the Company has on 7 September 2021, received notifcation pursuant to Paragraph 14.09(a) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad from Brahmal A/L Vasudevan, a Director of the Company of his dealing in shares in the Company outside Closed Period, the details of which are set out below:-

A) Dealing in Total Return Equity Swaps (TRES)

TRES is a cash-settled financial derivative transaction whereby two parties swap the returns of the ordinary shares of the Company ("Underlying Shares") with the floating rate interest. Amounts due to each party are based on the returns generated by a notional investment in a specified amount of the Underlying Shares. The floating rate amount payer agrees to pay the other party the periodic amounts calculated by reference to a market interest rate on the notional amount of the Underlying Shares and any depreciation in the value of the Underlying Shares. In return, the equity amount payer agrees to pay the other party any appreciation in the value of the Underlying Shares.

Details of the dealing in unwinding the remaining TRES are set out below:-

B) Dealing in shares by Creador Sdn. Bhd. (1)

Details of Mr. Brahmal's shareholdings in the Company after the dealings are as set out below:-

(1) Deemed interest by virtue of his interest in Creador Sdn. Bhd., applying Section 8(4) of the Companies Act, 2016.

(2) There is no change in interests or shareholding in the Company as a result of the Director unwinding the TRES as the terms and conditions of the TRES do not contemplate for any

      acquisition, disposal or transfer of the shares in the Company by the Director.
